Chapô

In the restaurant, feasting on tasty dishes is great! However, some want more. Many customers want to combine visual and taste experience. To satisfy them, establishments compete in imagination. Dine in the stars, under the sea or in the depths of a forest, we have selected three high-end restaurants where all pleasures are invited to the table.

Introduction

La Villa in the Sky, to feast in the sky of Brussels

Located on the 25th floor of the IT Tower, the Villa in the Sky offers a breathtaking setting to admire Brussels from the sky. A high-flying culinary experience because it is more than 120 meters high that this glass cube with contemporary decor and design is perched. A breathtaking restaurant, both for lunch with a unique panorama of the entire city, and for the evening when you dine with your head in the stars. In the kitchen, the starred chef Alexandre Dionisio, well known since his participation in Top Chef, works wonders. He offers menus concocted according to seasonal products, daily arrivals and his inspirations of the moment.

Ithaa, an underwater restaurant in the Maldives

Ithaa, the restaurant of the very luxurious Hilton Maldives Resort and Spa on Rangali Island, offers breathtaking views of the seabed. Built 5 meters below sea level, the translucent vault offers a 180-degree panorama of the underwater flora and fauna of the MaldivesThe nearby coral reef is home to sharks, moray eels, barracuda and tropical fish circling around guests while they are served typical dishes. Because it is not for nothing that "Ithaa" means pearl in the local language. Here, from the spiced lobster to reef fish to coconut and ginger, everything is a treat.

Back to nature at Stedsans in the Woods, Sweden

Discovering "Stedsans in the Woods" means accepting to disconnect with the world in order to immerse yourself in Swedish nature, in the heart of a natural space where water and forest coexist intimately. The cuisine is made from products freshly picked in the surroundings or grown on site on the permaculture farm of Mette Helbaek and Flemming Hansen. The couple wanted to make their hotel restaurant a laboratory for future life. They wage war on poisons, pesticides and industry. In a minimalist decor, they offer tasty cuisine concocted over a wood fire. To make the experience complete, guests can spend the night in wooden cabins or Bedouin tents and take a "forest bath".
