VANEAU IN ART: TOGETHER EXHIBITION

Chapô

We are pleased to announce the return of our Vaneau In Art series with the TOGETHER exhibition, in partnership with the Cox gallery, which take place since the end of October 2020 simultaneously in two of our Parisian agencies, Vaneau Saint-Honoré and Vaneau Luxembourg.

Introduction

Dedicated to contemporary art, TOGETHER feature two internationally renowned artists: Hueman and Boris Nzebo.

Hueman, whose real name is Allison Torneros, had already given us the pleasure of sharing a Live from his studio in Los Angeles, during our previous series Vaneau In Art.
A gifted painter rocked by street art, she creates delicate visions on canvas or crushes bulky walls with a spray can, and often draws on the human condition to create colorful mixtures between abstraction and gyration. Hueman’s unique freestyle process involves creating highly refined compositions from a spontaneous onset of splashes of paint, drips and sprays. Thanks to this method, she is interested in the creation of movements and dimensions on flat and two-dimensional surfaces. His works can be seen on public walls and in galleries around the world.

Boris Nzebo builds his works from a detailed study of traditional African hairstyles, intricately assembled with elements of everyday life. Hairdressing then becomes a pretext to question African identity and highlight the social and political issues that are shaking Africa. Inspired by Pop Art and advertising imagery, Boris Nzebo unveils multi-layered works, with plural readings. The layering of the elements, the intricate interweaving of lines, horizontal, vertical, angular, and the use of bright colors, create a true urban aesthetic.
